Bangladesh Navy Ships and Establishments are mainly situated in three regions of the country known as:

• Dhaka Naval Area
• Chottagram Naval Area
• Khulna Naval Area

Organogram

For effective Command, Control and Administration, eight Administrative Authorities function under NHQ. The organogram is shown below:

Area Commands

• Commander Chattogram Naval Area (COMCHIT) is responsible for administration, training and logistic support to the Ships/Establishment in Chattogram naval area.
• Commander BN Fleet (COMBAN) is the Flotilla Commander in Chattogram Naval Area. He is responsible for sea operational activities and operational sea training.
• Commander Khulna Naval Area (COMKHUL) is responsible for administration, training, operation and logistic support for Khulna naval area.
• Commodore Superintendent Dockyard (CSD) is responsible for repair and maintenance of BN Ships/Craft.
• Commander Dhaka Naval Area (COMDHAKA) is responsible for administration, training and logistic support for naval area Dhaka.
• Commodore Naval Aviation (COMNAV) is responsible for Naval aviation wing.
• Commodore Special Warfare Diving And Salvage (COMSWADS) is responsible for special warfare diving and salvage operations for naval area.
• Commander Submarine (COMSUB) is responsible for administration, training, operation and logistic support for submarine.
• Commander Flotilla West (COMFLOAT WEST) is the Flotilla Commander in Khulna Naval Area. He is responsible for sea operational activities and operational sea training.
